The end of 99.8

For years this has been our goal. It meant working to midnight on 31 March.

We would miss the three monthly goals, but we would cross the line late that night. And because we crossed that line, we measured ourselves as having succeeded.

We would add further clients each year and still meet the goal. We never asked was that the only goal that mattered.

Even Team New Zealand's Peter Blake didn't have the goal set at winning; instead, it was doing their very best. They added this into the vision statement.

We are resetting our goals. But they are not going to be written here for you to read, instead designed by yourselves, and all of this begins next week.

In the meantime, small things are happening. The Practice building is going 'dark' to clients on Friday's. No phone calls, no walks in, no appointments, no emails. This will start next Friday.

There is going to be a wellness program put in place to ensure that each of us can eventually achieve a balanced work and life experience.
