Last week
Level 1 arrived, and eventually, all the team made it back to the Practice. COVID has changed attitudes for the team. Some of them prefer to work more at home. And I am supporting them. In the coming week, more telephone headsets will be given to those working at home so they can seamlessly handle client calls.
In the last week, many of the clients have been looking at whether they will be eligible for an extended wage subsidy. The test changed a week ago, from a reduction in sales of 50% compared to the same period last year, to 40%. The link to the precise formula is in the COVID article. I am pleased with the change as we were struggling to get some of our clients past the crossing line.
Most of those eligible for the Small Business Cashflow (Loan) has applied, but the date was extended. Again see the COVID article for the link. I do understand why it was extended as over the last weeks, there has been just a bit too much happening for the clients to get everything done.
If you have GST arrears, it is possible to pay these off over 1-2 years in weekly, fortnightly or monthly instalments. I am completing several applications a week.
And finally for this week, when you come into the Practice you will notice a more spacious layout, as we have removed all the cupboards as we head closer to a paper minimised Practice. We are getting plenty of positive feedback.
